Since about 30 percent of the total water is used for landscape irrigation, capturing rainwater for use in the landscape makes efficient use of a valuable resource, reducing water bills and reducing demand on the potable water infrastructure. Moreover, rainwater harvesting can help to prevent flooding and erosion, and can transform storm water problems into water supply assets. As a member of ARCSA, Keep It Green LLC believes that rainwater harvesting is a necessary technology for sustainable urban growth, and we are dedicated to providing viable and affordable rainwater products and solutions.

What is Rainwater Harvesting?

Typically, rainwater harvesting involves collecting rain from a roof or deck and channeling the water via a system of gutters and downspouts into a cistern for storage. By doing so, you can take control of your landscape water supply and replace all or a substantial portion of your water requirements. Rainwater harvesting systems can be configured to supply water for your complete landscape needs and can also be used for car washing or any other outdoor use.

Why Keep It Green?

What is different about Keep It Green systems? First, our PE tanks are the strongest PE tanks on the market, offer the best warranty, and are the simplest to install. Moreover, they have an FDA-approved inner layer making them suitable for potable water applications. Second, our electronic control panel ensures that the system is fully integrated with your irrigation control and operates in a fully automated manner. If the water level in your cistern is too low, then Keep It Green's control panel will either shut down your irrigation or switch to city water (or well) if desired via an electronically-switched valve. This means that you can program your irrigation control, turn our control panel on auto, and forget about it.
